Photo: Privat There are essentially two reasons why we go to festivals, according to sociologist Tjora: We like the music and the social aspect. It confirms much of what we have found out: People like country music and people like to camp with a whole group year after year, says the festival researcher. 25,000 visitors The Country Festival at Seljord is the Nordic region’s largest country festival. It started in 1998 and has approx. 25,000 annual visitors.
