An orange warning has been issued for very strong gusts of wind in Ytre Parish and Sunnmøre from Monday morning. On the coast, there can be a hurricane. According to the forecast, the wind will increase from 04:00 on Monday morning. Locally very strong gusts of 38-43 meters per second are expected from first the south, later the southwest. A strong storm of up to 30 meters per second is also expected. A yellow warning for strong gusts of wind has been issued for parts of Trøndelag, Innlandet, Møre og Romsdal and Vestland. There may also be a storm with wind gusts of 30 meters per second on the coast. Locally strong gusts of 27-30 meters per second are expected in inland areas, and in the interior of 19-22 meters per second. The strongest winds are expected on the coast and in the mountains. During the afternoon, the wind is expected to decrease, first from the south. The danger warning can lead to canceled departures for ferries, planes or other transport, the meteorologists warn.
