Several yellow danger warnings have been sent out in southern Norway on Christmas Day. In Sunnmøre, in Vestland, Rogaland, parts of Agder, Vestfold and Telemark, there is a yellow warning for ice on the roads. The reason is a change to mild weather and rain on cold ground. The meteorologists advise people to pay extra attention because the ice can be difficult to see. Locally, there may be difficult driving conditions. The warning applies until 21:00 tonight. On Osterøy, a car drove off the road near Lonevåg on Christmas Day morning. Very slippery roads were reported in the area. In Flekkefjord, a car has driven into the rock wall on the E39 between Flikka and Loga. The police received a report on 10.24. No serious injuries have been reported in the two accidents. The Vegtrafikksentralen reports that Vikafjellet on national highway 13 has been postponed, and that convoy driving may be introduced at short notice. In addition, a yellow danger warning for gales has been issued from Karmøy to Måløy. The meteorologists advise people not to go out in small boats. The warning applies until the night of Boxing Day.
