29 April 2023 at 12:48 Walrus statue unveiled in Oslo A sculpture of the walrus Freya was unveiled on Saturday at Kongen Marina in Oslo. It is made by sculptor and nature advocate Astri Tonoian. The walrus was euthanized in August 2022 in the same place, to great protests. Noah leader Siri Martinsen made an appeal during the unveiling. The sculpture first appeared in Oslo harbour, but was removed from there.
