In 2021, he visited both Bergen and Tromsø, where he made his living. KSI is also very popular in this country, says Vareide, and refers to the group Sidemen, which KSI is a part of. Controversial energy drink Since the energy drink Prime arrived in Norway, it has been taken off store shelves at record speed – thanks in large part to young people. It has not been without controversy. In May, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority said that the drink contravened Norwegian regulations, as it contained so much caffeine and vitamin A that it could pose a health risk. The American topped Forbes’ list of the world’s best-paid YouTubers in 2017, 2018 and again in 2021. He really became world famous after a particularly unpopular video from the Aokigahara forest in Japan, a place widely known for suicides. After being stripped of advertising revenue and having pretty much the entire internet turned against him, Paul took a hiatus from Youtube.
