The man in his 40s was then picked up by a colleague, and given a ride on. – He has had crazy luck, I must say that. It doesn’t look as good as we see it in the pictures, so it’s very good that it went the way it did, says Lena Bakketun Ringheim. She is the general manager of Ringheim car help and rental, the company that has been commissioned to salvage the wagon train. The frozen river saved the fish On Friday morning, the tow truck will be on site and will start emptying the trailer. – It is not everyday that you pull up trailers lying upside down in the river. Fortunately, says Ringheim. According to Ringheim, the mission is all the more special in terms of the load. In addition to the load of fish, the truck train left behind damage to the guardrail, and tore down a power cable. Challenging driving conditions The distance from the road to the river is stated to be between 4 and 5 metres. According to the police, the cab of the tow truck itself should not have ended up in the river. – I would say that he has been lucky. That was the first thing we thought, says Holven in the Fire Service. The fire brigade went out on the night of Friday, in heavy snow.
