Voting is still ongoing. Earlier on Tuesday, the debate started in the National Assembly on Sweden’s application. All NATO’s 31 member states must approve a new member. Only Turkey and Hungary remain for Sweden. CORRECTION: news recently wrote that the vote has been completed and that Sweden’s NATO application has been approved by the Turkish parliament. The correct thing is that the vote is still ongoing.
