Undergrunn – Italy Photo: Martine Lossius How to vote You vote by going to news.no/stem/ fiddler. First, you must log in to news. If you do not already have an news user, you must create one first. It’s completely free! When you are logged in, you will get a list of this year’s songs that you can vote for. How does the voting take place? It is 50 per cent audience votes and 50 per cent jury votes that decide who wins the prize in the category “Song of the Year”. The Spellemann jury has therefore already voted, and the votes will be added together after the voting has ended. When can I vote? Voting is open from Tuesday 11 April at 09:00, and lasts until Friday 14 April at 12 noon. How many votes do I have? Each user will be given the opportunity to vote three times for their favourite(s). Once you have confirmed your votes, it is not possible to change your mind or vote for more candidates. How are the votes counted? All votes cast count equally. Why do I have to log in to vote? In order for the voting process to be secure, we must link each vote to a separate news user. The voting is done behind login to prevent cheating or manipulation of the result. We do not store information about who votes for what, but we log that you have voted so that you cannot vote more than once.
