30 November 2022 at 05:07 Violent lava eruptions in Hawaii The lava flow increases from the Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii. Images from aircraft monitoring the eruption show three tall lava “fountains” on the northeast fissure zone of the volcano. Rivers of glowing lava are visible for several kilometers down the mountainside. The outbreak started on Sunday. There is currently no danger of the lava reaching buildings. Residents of the Big Island are asked to remain on standby in case evacuation becomes necessary.
