Ukrainian authorities report explosions in Kyiv and that a Russian attack against the city’s infrastructure is underway. The explosions were heard around 6 p.m. local time on Saturday. – A fire broke out in a critical infrastructure facility. Response teams are on site. So far, no injuries have been reported, says the head of the Kyiv region military administration, Oleksij Kuleba. The last time the Ukrainian capital was attacked was New Year’s Eve. Unclear who is behind the explosions It is not yet clear whether the explosions are due to the attacks or Ukraine’s air defense. Oleksandr Pavliuk, a Kyiv-based commander in the Ukrainian army, says the explosions in Kyiv were not caused by Russian attacks. “The explosions are not connected to the threat from the air force or air force, or to any military actions.
