3 December 2022 at 05:48 USA with new bomber The USA’s new bomber B-21 Raider has been unveiled in Palmdale in California. The project has been kept top secret, with growing concern about a conflict with China as a backdrop. On Friday evening, specially invited guests got to see the aircraft for the first time at a strictly controlled event. It all started with a flyover with three existing bombers – B-52, B-1 and B-2. Then the hangar doors were slowly opened and the new B-21 was partially towed out of the building. – This is not just a plane. It is about the embodiment of America’s resolve to defend the country that we all love,” said Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin. The aircraft is scheduled to fly for the first time in 2023.
