Unusual with such large amounts of snow in Sørlandet – news Sørlandet – Local news, TV and radio

– There has been a surprising amount of snow. We are taken to bed every single year, says Steinar Terjesen. On Monday afternoon, he is busy removing snow from the boat which is parked in Pollen in Arendal. The amount of snow is more than he expected to get from above. – It must have come at least 70-80 centimeters since yesterday, he says and measures with the spade. Several thousand are without electricity On Monday afternoon, around 3,000 subscribers in Agder are without electricity. Communications manager at Glitre Nett Nils Terje Augland talks about demanding conditions. – We work continuously and have deployed a lot of crews today. Snow has been reported for the next few days and a lot of wind, so this will probably take time. – How are the conditions for the crews who are out? It is demanding. There has been a lot of snow and it takes time to get on the roads. In some places, there are trees that need to be removed, so it takes time to correct these mistakes.
