– I don’t notice anything about the groupings. They have fallen a bit now in third grade, with the Russian celebrations, says Kongsbergruss Sander Stutgelsrud (18). Sander Stengelsrud looks forward to the Russian train. This year’s theme is “Scandals”. Photo: June Hoem / news Together with the municipality, this year’s Russian government at Kongsberg High School has worked hard to include everyone in the celebration. The project is called “alternative Russian celebration”. They have arranged a Christmas workshop, Russkro, Russian ball and turning party. The project is funded by Sparebank 1. Buskerud is one of five counties that do not support events in the Russian era. There have been both sweat and tears in the planning of the Russian era, says Geelmuyden. Photo: June Hoem / news – Creating inclusive events would not have been possible without financial support, says Russian President Alex Geelmuyden (18). This year’s graduation coal, as well as the coal in 2026, has NOK 750,000 each to deal with. But it is uncertain whether the Russian in 2027 will receive funding. – Becomes extra visible and unfair news has mapped which county municipalities provide financial support for graduation. Ten of the fifteen counties have support schemes, and some provide up to NOK 2 million of county municipal funds. Click on your county to find out if money support is given: Akershus – Oslo – Vestland – Rogaland – Trøndelag – Inland – Agder – Østfold – Møre og Romsdal – Buskerud – Vestfold – Nordland – Telemark – Troms – Finnmark to avoid groups, they have had Vorspiel with their classes. At the Russian ball there was drilling, and the night of May 17, they plan to play where they divide the Russian into teams. Photo: June Hoem / news – When the majority of county municipalities support Russian celebrations, it becomes extra visible and unfair when someone does not, says Geelmuyden. – At the same time, I realize that it can be difficult to find money for everyone. – They are chased a bit around Line Spiten mayor in Kongsberg (H) – pupils, parents, and the school has wanted the municipality to facilitate the framework around the Russian celebration. The project has been very successful so far, says Spiten. The municipality is a project owner and provides administrative resources. Among other things, they have helped the Russian find places they can have events. – The Russian has struggled to find out where they can be. They are chased around a bit. We have got some good framework in place. Now it is important to see how they can manage to get this further, perhaps without funds. – The Russian era is a private matter. The municipality, the county council or the state should not join in and sponsor it. But we have a responsibility to join and contribute, says Spiten. In order for the budget to go up, the Russian at Kongsberg pays a quota of NOK 180 to participate in the festivities. Therefore, these counties give money to the Russian: Vestfold leader in the Main Committee for Education Lasse Berntzen writes: The county council has chosen to support an inclusive departure mark because we see a clear need to counteract outsiders in connection with traditional Russian celebration. By supporting measures that promote communities, we want to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to celebrate the departure time in a way that builds bridges, not barriers.Tøstfoldenior adviser in Østfold Magnus Normann Andresen writes: We want inclusive events, preferably free. Economics in itself can be an exclusionary element. We want safe events, and then it should be external security companies that are responsible for order and guarding. We want exciting events that the students are looking forward to. It also often leads to some additional costs. The Council for Training and Competence Lise Hage Rebbestad writes: The goal is that the Russian gets more arenas where all graduates can celebrate, so that the Russian buses in the long term do not have to be the only party arena. There are demanding economic times, and it is uncertain to what extent it is possible to prioritize such awards in the future. Work on creating more arenas for all Russians to participate will continue, and can be better implemented if financial support comes from a different team other than the county council’s own budgets. Inn country unit leader for school development Paal Morken Andersen writes: The allocation will contribute to strengthening the community and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate in an inclusive celebration, regardless of financial or social background. The purpose of the allocation is to ensure a broad and inclusive offer, so that all students have the opportunity for a memorable celebration.Oslodivissee director Trond Lien writes: The funds are from the Education Agency’s budget, and the goal is to create inclusive meeting places that help create a good school environment for our students. The students are committed to having meeting places where the Russian can gather, and here we encourage more players to contribute. – Must come up with a solution Russian President Geelmuyden thinks it should be a national scheme, so that everyone gets the opportunity to apply for funds. – It’s about justice and equal opportunities for youth across the country, regardless of what postal code you have. The government wants to change the Russian era, and the county municipalities in the country have joined forces to create a safe and inclusive graduation celebration from 2026. Geelmuyden went to some students one by one, to encourage them to join the Russian celebration. Invitations were also sent to students in vocational subjects who were in practice. Photo: June Hoem / news The Ministry of Transport and Communications will now decide on input regarding which buses should be allowed. The government also makes changes at the time of exam. – In essence, the Russian will pay for the Russian era. At the same time, when the state wants to interfere so much, they have to come up with a solution, says Geelmuyden. He emphasizes that there does not have to be large sums of money, but for example help to find areas where the Russian can celebrate. – Not relevant Kari Nessa Nordtunnorge’s Minister of Knowledge (Ap) Nordtun emphasizes that the work on an inclusive celebration is primarily at each school. – My job is to make sure that learning and examination are the focus of Norwegian pupils, says Nordtun. – When it comes to the Russian celebration itself, I have encouraged the schools that have problems with exclusionary behaviors related to Russian sweaters, to consider banning them, but I do not join the content of the celebration itself. – Several high schools have various measures for inclusive celebration. It’s great and I applaud it. There are different economics and different political priorities in each county, Nordtun emphasizes. But she thinks it is important that more people have support schemes. But a national scheme is not relevant, says Nordtun. – When we see that they manage to find other solutions with contributions from local players, I think it is not relevant in this time. She agrees with Russian president at Kongsberg that everyone must contribute to a more inclusive celebration. – I treat the students to a celebration. And the party, it must happen after the test. – Looking forward to “Mom’s” CFO Thea Rue is pleased that they can have a low quota so that as many people as possible can participate. Photo: June Hoem / news Night to May 1st, the Kongsbergrussen will be baptized, and there will be a magnificent celebration night until 17 May. In June there will be a graduation party and possibly volleyball tournament. The Russian has a lot to look forward to. – I am very much looking forward to having “mummers”, says Thea Rue (18). Thea Rue is in the Russian group “Stupid and Delicious”. Photo: June Hoem / news – Then the parents join Vorspiel. And it gets extra cozy. – I’m really looking forward to May 17th. I always looked at the Russian train when I was a kid. That is perhaps what I look forward to most with the whole Russian era, says Sander Stengelsrud. Published 30.04.2025, at. 22.34
