2 October 2022 at 00:40 Ukrainian forces declare victory in Lyman A close adviser to President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has posted a video on social media in which Ukrainian soldiers declare that they have taken control of Lyman in Donetsk. The soldiers have lined up in front of the town hall in the center of the city with Ukrainian flags. The Russian flag is thrown on the ground. Russian forces said on Saturday they had left the city. The person who posted the video is Kyrylo Tymoshenko, who is deputy chief of staff in the president’s office, Reuters reports.
