14 August 2024 at 07:16 Expressen: Ukrainian diver wanted for Nord Stream explosion A Ukrainian man in his 40s was wanted by a German court in June. He is suspected of having blown up the gas pipeline in Nord Stream in the autumn of 2022. This is what the Swedish newspaper Expressen writes. The man’s car was captured by a surveillance camera not far from the harbor where the sailboat “Andromeda” was located just before the sabotage action. German police have previously linked this sailboat to the sabotage. It was on 26 September 2022 that tremors were recorded at the gas pipelines Nord Stream 2 and Nord Stream 1 southeast of Bornholm in Denmark. The gas pipelines run from Russia to Germany. Danish and Swedish authorities are investigating the case, and believe the leak is the result of a deliberate act and suspect sabotage.
