Marte Skaanes impressed once again, and took the last medal as third best. – The motivation is a little better than before. It’s really fun to show that I can ski fast, says Skaanes. With that, Udnes Weng has ended an incredible season, in which she also won the World Cup overall. She also received two relay medals from the WC in Planica. Udnes Weng took the lead from the start and gradually increased his lead. At the halfway point, she had a lead of over almost one minute down to Bergane. That lead narrowed somewhat when Bergane picked up the pace with six kilometers to go, but the Nes runner held on and won. Ragnhild Haga, on the other hand, ran her last race. The result was not great, but she was praised by her teammates when she crossed the finish line for the last time as a professional cross-country skier.
