The next of kin have been notified. The accident happened when the car drove off the road at Lygnasæter in Gran, shortly after 11 o’clock on Sunday morning. There were two people in the car. A man in his 30s died. A woman in her 30s was picked up by an air ambulance earlier on Sunday and flown to Ullevål hospital with serious injuries. The car had extensive material damage. The road is open The National Road Administration’s accident team and the police have been working at the scene throughout the afternoon to find out the cause of the accident. The road past the accident site has been closed to all traffic since the accident, but just before 5 p.m. the Road Traffic Center East announced that the road has now been reopened.
