The police have arrested two boys under the age of 18 for robbery and attempted robbery in residential areas on Holmen and Smestad in Oslo. As of now, the police have an overview of two attempted robberies and three robberies. – No one is said to have been physically injured, but one of the victims has suffered a stroke, says operations manager Alexander Østerhaug to news. Masked The police received several reports that people had been robbed and attempted to be robbed in the area by a masked youth gang outdoors. – It appears that they are walking along the street in housing estates, and have sought out people possibly to and from public transport, says Østerhaug. The victims are from 18 to their 40s. The first report came in to the police at 01:15. Then several messages about the same thing came in until 02.15. – We moved out immediately, but when we realized that there were more conditions, we pressed on with extra resources. Searches were carried out with helicopters and drones, and roads were blocked. The police have arrested two minors, but have not found the others. – We have some history on both of them from similar cases, i.e. violence and theft. The two live in Oslo west. The search ended at 04 last night. Stolen watches and wallets The victims have been deprived of, among other things, watches and wallets, according to the police. But so far the police cannot say whether they have obtained any stolen goods. The operations manager says a witness has explained that a knife or a sharp object was used, but that this has not been confirmed by any of the victims yet. Police hope the investigation will lead them to two more people.
