In Sandefjord, the festival By the Pond was stopped while Bryan Adams was on stage, writes Sandefjords Blad. – This is not my fault, said Bryan Adams from the stage before he left. – At 22.30 a person came on stage and said that the audience had to evacuate. Bryan Adams didn’t believe it and wanted to continue. But the message was repeated, and people started to go out before the rain started pouring down, says news’s journalist at the scene. He says that many in the audience were disappointed that the Canadian did not manage to play “Summer of 69”. Communications manager, Flemming Hofmann Tveitan, tells the local newspaper that it is regrettable to end the festival 15 minutes early. – We were a quarter of an hour away from completing the full programme.
