16 October 2022 at 10:38 Two taken to custody after violent incident Two people have been taken to custody following a violent incident in the Austad area of Drammen on Sunday morning. Shortly after 08:00, the police received a report that a bloody person had been observed outside. – It was quickly discovered that he had been subjected to an episode of violence at a nearby address, says operations manager Øyvind Hammervold at the South-East police district. The person was examined by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital. The police are now investigating the place where they believe the violence took place. They have some idea of who has been involved. No one has been arrested so far, but two people have been taken into custody for questioning. – We believe that they have some form of connection to the episode, but as of now it is a bit too early to say. We are still trying to map out what happened, says Hammervold.
