Thomas Matthew Crooks, the perpetrator behind the attack on Donald Trump in Pennsylvania, must have googled details of the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy, says FBI director Chris Wray. According to Reuters, Crooks must have become fixated on Trump at the beginning of July. It shows searches on his personal computer. Earlier in July, Crooks attempted to take the life of presidential candidate Donald Trump. Crooks hit the President in the ear. A spectator during the election campaign event died. It has so far not been known what motive Crooks may have had for the shooting. Even now, it is not clear what prompted Crooks to carry out the attack. Nevertheless, it may appear that Crooks drew inspiration from a previous presidential assassination. According to the FBI, on the same day it became clear that Trump became the Republican presidential candidate, Crooks should have googled: “How far was Oswald from Kennedy” Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963.
