The emergency services were notified of the accident at 07.25. The driver was rescued from the truck and taken away by ambulance. This is reported by the police operations centre. The extent of the damage is currently unknown. The fire service is now working on the scene. Fall of four meters The lorry rolled down a cliff of about four meters and landed on the roof of the Sirkula Heggvin recycling and waste facility at Vang på Hedmarken. The accident occurred in connection with the unloading of a container inside the area. Powered by biogas The truck is one of Sirkula IKS’s vehicles, says Grethe Olsbye, managing director of Sirkula IKS. She is on her way to the scene and is awaiting further comment. The fire service in Innlandet informs news that the truck is powered by biogas. The gas can ignite. The fire service is working to get control of the gas tanks and the leak.
