The police initially reported that the collision had occurred inside the tunnel, but later stated that the accident must have occurred outside the tunnel. The extent of the damage is so far unknown, but the emergency services are on their way to the city. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration reports that there must be a serious accident and that the road may be closed for a long time.
