30 June 2023 at 03:35 Tracked down tourist who tagged the Colosseum Italian police say they have identified the man who scratched his and his girlfriend’s name into the wall at the Colosseum. They say it’s a tourist living in the UK. The man was identified by comparing photos, the police say in a press release. It does not contain the name of the male suspect or information about his whereabouts. Italian officials have vowed to find and punish the man who scrawled “Ivan + Hayley 23” on a wall in the Roman amphitheater. Similar offenses have previously been punished with large fines. (NTB-AP)
