A total of six people have been charged in connection with the incident. One August night in 2020, several shots were fired in a car park outside a fast food restaurant in Botkyrka. The 12-year-old, who was walking the dog at the time, was hit by the shots and killed. According to the Swedish public prosecutor’s office, two young men who were in the same place were probably the targets of the shots.
