This afternoon, the police were notified that a man in his 20s had been found stabbed in the center of Skien. The man was taken to hospital where he later died of his injuries. Three men have now been arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm resulting in death. This is stated by acting head of the investigation section at Grenland police station Linda Leland. For the time being, the police do not wish to comment on whether there is a relationship between the accused and the victim. – We want to investigate broadly to find out what happened and we worked based on several hypotheses, Leland says to news. Throughout the evening, the police will focus on both tactical and technical investigations, the press release states. – We have forensic technicians on site and will also conduct surveys and interrogate witnesses in the area to try to clarify what has happened in advance. Interrogation of the accused will be attempted during Sunday. The police have previously stated that they assume that the incident happened in an apartment in Lundegata in Skien. The police also add that this incident is not related to the other serious incident in Skien later in the day.
