Two people have been taken to hospital with unknown extent of injuries. This is according to the West police district, which received information about the accident just after 2 o’clock on Sunday night. According to the police, the boat has run aground or a reef. A major rescue operation was launched with police, fire brigade with boat and divers, lifeboat, air ambulance and rescue helicopter. – There were three people and a dog on board. All are rescued on land. No information about more people involved or missing, writes operations manager Jørgen Ommedal in a press release. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, but two others were transported to Haukeland University Hospital by air ambulance and ambulance. Their condition is not known. (NTB)
