Dennis Vareide is a YouTuber himself, and thinks Prime has seen its glory days. Photo: Kari Nygard Tvilde / news It is not the first time Paul is in Norway. In 2021, he visited both Bergen and Tromsø, where he made his living. KSI is also very popular in this country, says Vareide, and points to the group Sidemen, which KSI is a part of. Some fans arrived several hours in advance. Photo: Stina Haugen / news Controversial energy drink Since the energy drink Prime arrived in Norway, it has been taken off store shelves at record speed – thanks in large part to young people. It has not been without controversy. In May, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority said that the drink contravened Norwegian regulations, as it contained so much caffeine and vitamin A that it could pose a health risk. The price of Prime has also been criticized for not being quite prime. One bottle of energy drink cost NOK 150. The Prime drink has previously been in trouble. Photo: Trygve Heide / news It all ended with Prime being pulled from Norwegian store shelves. Now it is back with a new price and a new table of contents, reports the importer. But is Prime still as popular? Dennis Vareide does not think so. – What I suspect is that perhaps Prime became so popular here in Norway because it was so difficult to get hold of. It became a status symbol to own a bottle. But that’s already over, since all candy stores sell them. World-renowned boxer Logan Paul has been one of the world’s biggest YouTube stars since 2017. The American topped Forbes’ list of the world’s best-paid YouTubers in 2017, 2018 and again in 2021. He really became world famous after a particularly unpopular video from the Aokigahara forest in Japan, a place widely known for suicides. After being stripped of advertising revenue and having pretty much the entire internet turned against him, Paul took a hiatus from Youtube. But it didn’t take long before he was back, this time with the desire to bring about the “biggest boxing match of all time” against another YouTuber, KSI. This boxing match was broadcast live online. After putting their “unfriendliness” aside, KSI and Logan Paul decided to work together. It still remains that Paul has a varying reputation: – I think he says a lot of strange things. He is very cocky, and I don’t like cocky people, says one of the KSI fans who showed up. KSI is big in Norway – bigger than Logan Paul, many believe. Photo: Stina Haugen / news
