The person says that the car was advertised on Finn.no. The car is a 2003 model. After the first contact, they met a couple of days later. The seller tells news that the transaction went quickly and the payment was made via Vipps. The seller says that there was nothing unusual about the situation, apart from the fact that the actual meeting and purchase happened quickly, without the car being test driven. The buyer (the accused 28-year-old) had said that there was a bit of a need, and needed the car quickly, the seller explains to news. The very next day, 29 July, this car was re-registered to the man who was arrested early Wednesday morning (the 30-year-old). It is he who is listed as the last owner of the car. The separation took place on 3 September, just over two weeks after the murder of Jonas. The police have confirmed that they seized a car during the police operation in which the 28-year-old was arrested at Rena on 14 August.
