Operations manager Erik Gunnerød at the Sør-East police district says that one of the vehicles has crossed into the oncoming lane in a curve on Østsideveien in Lardal near Gavelstad. – This led to a collision which led to the tractor partially coming over the passenger car. There is an elderly man from Vestfold in the car who has died, and the next of kin have been notified. – He was confirmed dead by a doctor in the rescue helicopter who arrived at the scene shortly afterwards. The police report a chain collision at Gulli on the E18 near Barkåker. There are three cars involved in the northbound direction. Two people have been taken to hospital for a check-up, but probably no serious injuries. The police are investigating the course of events.
