The goal of the restructuring program is to reduce the company’s annual costs by SEK 7.5 billion. In recent months, SAS has received criticism from customers who experience that their flights are canceled at the last minute. The corona pandemic also hit the company hard, and they had to lay off about 5,000 employees during that period. This corresponded to 40 percent of the company’s employees.
