Acquaintances refer to her as a very cheerful and happy young woman. On social media, Victoria has shared smiling photos from holidays and festivals. The father killed the daughters A little after eleven o’clock on Tuesday 23 January, the police received a report of a serious incident in Nes. When they arrived, they found four dead people inside a detached house in Skogbygda. The four were the sisters Victoria and Katrine, Katrine’s daughter Emily and the supposed perpetrator. He was the father of the two sisters, and the grandfather of Emily. The man himself called the police and said that he had killed his children and grandchildren, before taking his own life. Several people had gathered there the night after the murders took place, to lay candles and flowers. It was a heavy atmosphere. Several held each other and several cried. Ingeborgrud Church also stayed open throughout the evening so that people who needed to talk to someone, or just sit in peace, could gather here. Three priests and a crisis team welcomed those who came. The local parish priest describes Skogbygda as a small village where everyone knows everyone. One of the family’s neighbors describes the situation as unreal.
