The Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah TV station reported on Saturday night that the United States and Great Britain are carrying out new attacks against Yemen’s capital Sana. Later on Saturday night, two US officials confirmed to Reuters that the US is launching new attacks. On the night of Friday, the United States and Great Britain carried out an extensive military operation against almost 30 Houthi targets in Sana and other places in Yemen. The two countries then justified the attacks by saying that the Iran-backed Houthi movement’s ability to attack civilian shipping in the Red Sea must be stopped.
