I only had an ordinary car, but I saw people who were on their way up with a caravan. I don’t envy them, he says. This usually happens. Traffic operator in the Norwegian Road Administration, Roger Berg, says it can quickly get stuck in the steep bends during the tourist season. – It is quite common for this to happen in the summer when there is a lot of traffic. The road is both winding and narrow, he says. On Wednesday at 1500, the Norwegian Road Administration informs that the road is completely open again after there was a traffic diversion for a while.
