The family of the murdered Jonas Aarseth Henriksen reacted strongly to the Court of Appeal’s wish to release a 28-year-old who is charged with Henriksen’s murder. That’s what the family’s legal aid lawyer, Marijana Lozic, told news on Thursday. Lawyer Marijana Lozic is the family’s assistance lawyer. And I then agree with the minority who believe that it offends the public’s sense of justice to release this person, said Lozic. Appeal against release The prosecution appealed the decision to the Supreme Court because there is strong suspicion that the accused could be linked to the murder itself. Now the Supreme Court is overturning the decision. The four others charged with murder or complicity in murder have already been released. The 28-year-old was the first to be arrested for the murder. The police believe it was he who tricked Henriksen up to the cabin where the murder took place. The man, like the other accused, denies criminal guilt. Jonas was found shot dead at a cabin in Nes in Ringerike on 17 August.
