26 April 2023 at 10:40 Three Norwegians meet the world elite at Bislett Ingar Bratseth-Kiplesund, Henrik Flåtnes and Sander Aas Skotheim are all ready for the distance competition during this year’s Diamond League event at Bislett. This year’s Bislett Games will be held on Thursday 15 June. Five of the six best-ranked in the world are at Bislett, with world number one Miltiadis Tentoglou as the front runner. His best result is 8.60 meters set in 2021. The Greek is also the reigning Olympic champion. The four other strong athletes who will be in place are Marquis Dendy (USA), Simon Ehammer (Switzerland), Thobias Montler (Sweden) and Murali Sreeshankar (India). Of the Norwegians, Ingar Bratseth-Kiplesund is considered the best. He has a personal best of 8.10 meters and started the season with a good 7.97 meters in South Africa a few weeks ago. Henrik Flåtnes has a pers of 7.95, while decathlon champion Sander Aae Skotheim’s best result in length is 7.74.
