4 September 2023 at 14:42 The recommendation not to swim in the Oslo Fjord is lifted The recommendation not to swim in the Oslo Fjord has now been lifted, Oslo Municipality writes on its website. The municipality advised against swimming after 130 liters of sewage flowed into the Alnaelva and further into the Oslofjord on Friday. The spill was quickly stopped after it was discovered. Infection control supervisor Frode Hagen says they have conferred with the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, which supports that the recommendation be revoked.
