State Attorney Jan Fredrik Glent confirms to news that they will appeal the verdict. – This case has a clear principled approach. It will have significance for all four drone cases that are now being processed in the court system, says Glent. Yakunin is charged with breaching the sanctions regulations after he flew a hobby drone in Svalbard. Glent told news that they are appealing the verdict because they disagree with the decision from the Hålogaland Court of Appeal, which believes that flying a hobby drone was not a violation of the sanctions.
