Police knew a large crowd had gathered even before the stampede, which immediately indicated a dangerous situation, police chief Yoon Hee-keun said Tuesday. Memorial for Stine (20) Stine Roalkvam Evensen (20) from Sandnes died in the tragedy. The family was in contact with the daughter a few hours before the fatal incident. Today, a memorial service is being held at the university where she attended, so that friends can remember her. There will also be a gathering for Norwegian students at the embassy. There were several Norwegians who ended up in the middle of the chaos on Saturday. For some of them, it was only luck that saved their lives.
