In the passenger seat was a shotgun and ammunition. Several weapons were found at the man’s home. The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, explained that the reason he had brought the shotgun and cartridges was that he had been hunting. But there was meager hunting prey in the car. Nor is there an approved hunter’s test or weapons license for the weapon, writes East Police District on X. Those were not the only weapons the man was in possession of, the police say. At the man’s home, elsewhere in Østfold, the police found a further three shotguns and some ammunition. – These are stored according to regulations, but there are uncertainties regarding their acquisition.
