Two children on their way home from a trip with SFO are said to have tried to lure them into a car on Tuesday. Among other things, the man tried to tempt the children with chocolate. The case has now been reported and a school in Trondheim has issued a warning to all parents and guardians about the incident, which they describe as serious. The police have started an investigation. – As of now, there is an unknown perpetrator, says police attorney on duty at Trøndelag police district, Anne Haave. It was the parents of the children who notified the school. “Fortunately, the boys did not allow themselves to be enticed, and quickly left and went straight home,” the school writes in the message sent out to parents and guardians. They ask people to be vigilant. – We see this as a very serious incident, says the principal of the school. Several incidents in a short time Just a few weeks ago, children were tried to be lured into a car at Fannrem, not far from Trondheim. There have also been other cases in Trondheim. In September, two other children were tried to be lured into a car: the headmaster hopes the police will look at all the incidents in a context. – Parents we have been in contact with take it very seriously, and think it is worrying. There have been several episodes at schools of a similar nature. So this is extremely serious because it creates students who become afraid, he says. The headmaster has now contacted his management and asked that the issue be addressed at headmaster level for all schools. – I hope the police see this in connection with what has happened before, so that they can investigate even more thoroughly to see what is really going on, he says to news. Asking for tips from the public The man who made contact with the children on Tuesday afternoon is said to have stopped them shortly after 3.30pm at Granåsen. He is described as an older man with fair hair. He drove a black car. The police are asking for tips from the public if anyone has information about the vehicle or has seen anything.
