The Sør-Rogaland District Court has decided that the police are required to obtain the TV series “Team Ingebrigtsen” from news as it may have an impact on the assessment of the credibility of the parties. This is what Elden law firm writes in a press release. Gjert Ingebrigtsen’s defenders demanded from the district court in October that the news series “Team Ingebrigtsen” should be obtained as part of the investigation. The case concerns Gjert Ingebrigtsen, who is charged with mistreatment of two of the children. They claim that what appears in the series is at odds with what the victim and family members have explained to the police. – We are surprised that the prosecution did not even see that this could be important as evidence in the case, when it shows what a family is like through several years of interaction and relationships, says lawyer John Christian Elden. – The fact that no offense is committed in the same period is of course significant evidence, and not as the prosecution believes something that says nothing about the family relationship, he continues.
