In connection with the double murder in Vågsbygd in Kristiansand on Wednesday 27 September, the police in Agder will hold a press briefing on the status of the investigation at 1.30pm. On Wednesday last week, a mother and her eight-year-old daughter were found murdered in a home in Kristiansand. The police have previously charged and wanted the child’s father. Investigated as a double murder After mother and daughter were found dead, a large area around the home in Vågsbygd was cordoned off. The police are investigating the incident as a double homicide. They have constantly pointed out that the accused is not necessarily the perpetrator. They have also not ruled out that several people may be involved. On Wednesday, the police stated that they are continuing with investigations in the home where the mother and daughter were found dead. The police are also still working on reviewing video surveillance material and interviewing witnesses. Relatives want peace Counsel for the next of kin, Åse Johnsen Drabløs, has previously told news that it is an unimaginable situation for the next of kin and that they want peace. The woman and the child will be buried on Thursday, says assistant lawyer Åse Drabløs. The deceased will be buried at Voie church.
