Now the international investigation has managed to find a number of encryption keys that enable Hydro and other companies that have been affected to unlock the encryption and gain access to their data. “The fact that we have managed to recover so many encryption keys is a major victory for the investigation,” says Knut Jostein Sætnan, police attorney at the National Cybercrime Center in Kripos.
