The police in Rauma report that they have discovered a dead person on the mountain Romsdalseggen in Rauma. The discovery was made in connection with a drone search for the Spanish 75-year-old woman who was missing after a hike on Romsdalseggen last summer. – We have reason to believe that it is the missing woman, but we cannot confirm this until the person has been taken out of the area and a secure identification has been made, says police station chief in Rauma and Vestnes, Roar Mordal Hilde. The discovery was made by drone on a steep mountainside and the police are working on a plan to retrieve the dead body. – We plan for this to happen as soon as the weather and circumstances permit, concludes the police station chief.
