The police found a person with stab wounds in the center of Oslo: – No one arrested – Greater Oslo

The emergency services moved to Storgata after the police came across a person with stab wounds. The police were notified of the incident at around 6.30pm on Saturday evening. – We are still searching for two perpetrators, continuing with technical and tactical investigative steps, including a review of electronic traces, says Crime Leader Thomas Pedersen Enger. The police have seized a stabbing weapon that can be linked to the incident. – There is nothing to indicate that there is any danger to the public, but that this is a discrepancy between people in a given environment, says Enger. The condition of the victim was initially described as serious, but the police’s task leader Tonje Brandru states that the man is critically injured and taken to hospital. The police do not have the man’s identity and are working to clear it up. The man is aged between 20 and 30 and is receiving health treatment. – We are working to both get in touch with witnesses, obtain video and carry out other investigations that give us a clearer picture of what has happened, says Tonje Brandru to news. – There are a lot of surveillance cameras in the area, so we hope some of it is covered, but whether the incident itself is on video, we don’t know, she says. At 18.48 the police stated that Storgata is closed to all traffic, and Ruter has been notified. Shortly after 19:00 they state that the street is open again for public transport.
