30 September 2022 at 11:58 The police finish the investigation into the Tina murder Sør-Vest police district has finished the investigation against the Karmøy man who is charged with the murder of Tina Jørgensen in Stavanger. The police state that they are working on a recommendation to the state attorney whether the case should be dropped or whether charges should be brought. Tina Jørgensen was found murdered on 26 October 2000 in a drainage basin in the car park at Bore church in Jæren. Two days had passed since the 20-year-old disappeared without a trace after being out on the town with his girlfriend. The Karmøy man who is charged with the murder of Tina Jørgensen is also charged with the murder of Birgitte Tengs. That case is now on the table of the Attorney General, who is expected to make a decision on whether charges should be brought in the Tengs case shortly. The trial is tentatively scheduled for October 31 or November 14.
