The grounds for suspicion were weakened upon release and are still weakened. The brother has explained himself in detail in several interviews and given a good description of what he has seen, says Lundstein. The police attorney says that the brother must have been in the cabin’s upper floor when the shots were fired, while the deceased was found in the kitchen on the first floor. – Brother has explained that he ran downstairs and saw a man who left the cabin after a short time, says Lundstein. Four new weeks Current detention expires on 29 July, and the police will ask for four weeks on the basis of the risk of tampering with evidence. – The accused man in his 50s living in Sør-Odal has not wanted to be questioned since 11 April and has justified this by saying that he wants to read the case documents first. According to police lawyer Christine Lundstein, the accused has had access to the documents since the beginning of May. She says that they interpret this to mean that he does not want to explain himself further to the police at the present time. – The grounds for suspicion against him have been strengthened since the arrest, says Lundstein. The investigation is moving towards a final phase and the police aim to complete the investigation with a recommendation to the public prosecutor during the autumn.
