The woman was found by a passer-by at 7pm and taken to hospital in Namsos. – The current status is that the person involved is seriously injured and cannot be contacted. What we can see so far is that it is a woman from the namso area in her 50s who has been hit by a car, where the car has subsequently left the scene, says the head of the police force Morten Heggdal to Namdalsavisa. The woman did not have any identity papers on her, but the police think based on the descriptions they know who she is. Relatives are contacted. The police are now asking the driver to report himself. – We are busy getting help from those involved who have most likely been very unlucky here, says Heggdal and asks those involved to contact the police as soon as possible. The police have carried out a round of questioning in the area and carried out forensic investigations at the site.
