There were several police cars and forensics technicians at work when news was at the address in the quiet residential area on Oslo’s best west side on Saturday afternoon. At the same time, investigators have been talking to neighbors in the block of flats to find out if they have heard or seen anything unusual. Unusual sounds A neighbor news has spoken to says that she heard knocking sounds last night, which she believes came from the floor below. She has lived in the apartment for a while, and has never experienced similar noise. – I heard noises around 4 in the morning. I heard a man’s voice, but no screams or anything like that, says the neighbour. The person describes it as sounding like someone was carrying out renovations and estimates that the knocking sound lasted for around 30 minutes. – It was unusual. It is the first time I have heard this sound at night. I was worried because it was unusual, says the neighbour, who wishes to remain anonymous. Relatives not notified It was Saturday morning that the police found a dead person in the apartment. As a result of “circumstances on the spot”, the death is being investigated as suspicious, the police write in a press release. The relatives of the deceased have not yet been notified, and the police are therefore cautious with information.
